What is the Airport Shuttle?
Our Airport Shuttle Services The Villages® Community 16 times a day. We pick up and drop off at Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood with service to/from The Orlando International Airport. We also service Spanish Springs at select times by reservation. Our service is DIRECT. If you need home service, it is available for an extra fee. (within The Villages only)
Who can use the Airport Shuttle?
Anyone! Our Airport Shuttle service is NOT limited to residents of The Villages. If you are a resident and have family that visits, we recommend you book all reservations under one account name so you can take advantage of our frequent rider program.
Airport Shuttle Hours

The Airport Shuttle operates every day except Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve, December 24: The last shuttle going to the airport is 1:30 pm from Lake Sumter Landing and 1:45 pm from Brownwood. The last shuttle picking up at the Airport is 3:30 pm on Terminal B and 3:45 pm on Terminal A.

What is the cost of the Airport Shuttle?

The cost is $30 per person, each way if you book online.  Our saver Shuttle is always $30 per person (*7:00 am departing from Lake Sumter Landing & *7:15 am from Brownwood.) Children 12 & under are $20.

If you call to book, the charge is $35 per person, each way for all shuttle times besides the Saver Shuttle.

What if I miss my shuttle at the Airport? What if my flight is delayed?
If you know you are going to be delayed and you have scheduled home service, please give us a courtesy phone call. 352-259-9398. We try our very best to accommodate all delayed customers on a later shuttle time at no extra cost.
How do I cancel? Will I get a refund?
You can easily cancel your own reservation through the link provided on your email confirmation or by calling our office. Cancellations with 24 hours’ notice from scheduled shuttle time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled shuttle time are subject to a $10 cancellation fee per reservation OR an in-house credit for the full amount. You must call if you are cancelling and choosing to receive an in-house credit. Please allow 7- 14 business days for refund processing.
Please note our no-show policy: If you do not call, and do not show up for any shuttle on the day you are scheduled, no refund or in-house credit will be issued.
Do you provide car seats?
Workman Transportation follows Florida state laws regarding child restraint requirements. All children under age 8, less than 57 inches tall and less than 40 pounds must be securely buckled in an age-appropriate child restraint seat.
We do not provide car seats. You may bring your own personal car seat or if you are in need of a car seat, we recommend Baby Bundles (352)-406-4754. Baby Bundles is able to bring the car seats to us, so they are ready for you on your scheduled shuttle.
Is there a limit to how many bags I can bring?
If you are traveling with more than 2 large bags per person, we will need advance notice. Excessive bags may be subject to an extra fee.
Is a gratuity for my driver included?
Driver tip is not included in the $35 fare. Driver gratuity is up to your discretion.
What is the frequent rider program?
If you have opted into our frequent rider program. Buy 10 rides, you will receive the 11th free. You can use the free ride whenever you would like. One ride= 1 person, 1 way.

Reservation Office Hours

Our current office hours are: Monday- Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. 

Our reservations office is closed in observance of the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We are open for limited hours on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. After -hours dispatch available for emergency or last minute reservations. 

What other services does Workman Transportation provide?
Workman Transportation provides private bus charters for any size group. Our fleet consists of luxury sedans, and SUVS, mini-buses (14-33 passenger buses), mid-coaches (36-38 passenger buses) and full motor-coaches (56 passengers). We also have caravans and vans. (5-10 passengers)
All buses are 2018 or newer. Motor-coaches are equipped with seatbelts, a restroom, WIFI, USB port charging at each seat, as well as DVD players and televisions throughout.

Is a deposit required to book a charter?
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
I left something on a vehicle, what should I do?
Workman Transportation is not responsible for lost items, however if you leave something behind, please call our office for inquiry and we will do our best to return it to you. Items are kept in lost & found for a limited amount of time so please call as soon as you notice the item is lost. 352-259-9398.
